Peer Review Process

All texts published in the journal are double-blind peer reviewed.

All texts are reviewed by two experts. The review process is expected to take 6-8 months or more in some cases. The editors may ask for revision and may require reformatting of accepted manuscripts.

Due to the high volume of manuscripts being submitted we do not send editorial comments for unpublished texts.

Prospective authors should be aware that JSRI normally publishes only around 30% of the texts received.

Publication Frequency

From 2002 through 2007, JSRI appeared on April 30th, August 30th and December 30th. Beginning in 2008, JSRI appears on the following dates: February 25th, June 25th and November 25th.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

J.S.R.I allow readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
